Hi, I'm Chris Bird and am now operating Riverbend Driving School.
I have lived and worked on the westcoast for over 60 years.
I have recently moved from Ucluelet to Port Alberni and have received my drivers instructor license from ICBC for practical in car training. I am a Canadian Forces trained mechanic and driver with over 2 million kilometers experience. In March of this year I completed my instructor training in Victoria with Wallace Driving School. I am confident I will be able to provide drivers of all ages and experience with the skills and knowledge they need to be safe and competent on the road.

Description
Road Test Package
$60.00 - Use of car for road test includes student pick up/drop off and 30-minute warm-up.
** If the client requesting a car rental is not a student of (Riverbend Driving School) a minimal one-hour driving skills assessment will be required. This will be charged at our regular hourly rate. **
Additional Passengers
We allow a max of 1 additional person in the vehicle during the lesson for the purpose of observation.
Refund Policy
There will be no refund for lessons that have already taken place.
If a package is purchased, unused lessons will be refunded (used lessons will be charged at the regular rate, and the balance will be refunded).
Refund requests must be made in writing to the Driving School.
Cancellations
Lessons must be cancelled at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance to avoid being charged for the lesson. Cancelations must be done by e-mail, phone, or text.
If the student does not show for a lesson, they will be charged for that lesson.
NOTE: For cancelling a road test appointment made by the school, we require 72 hours notice, as we must notify ICBC. Failure to give (Driving School) 72 hours notice may result in a late cancellation fee being charged by ICBC.
